At least two Bull Sharks spotted in Lake Yosemite in Merced California

MERCED, Calif. — Several people have witnessed at least two 10-15 foot long Bull Sharks guarding the shoreline known as a frequent fishing hole and the inlet for Yosemite lake. Alex Florer, a local resident claimed as he and his wife was bringing in their children’s rafts from the water an enormous shark attacked the plastic float and thrashed violently as he carried it out into deeper water Florer said they had just removed their youngest daughter from the raft seconds before they left the water and called the Sheriff’s department they were told that the deputies are unequipped to handle this situation and have refereed the case to the Fish and Game department. James Cometer a local fisherman who also witnessed the sharks claims to have seen two sharks seemingly working together to take down a dog that was swimming in the shallow water. Cometer remarked that he was watching the German Shepherd drink from the lake only 20 yards from where he stood. In the next instant he heard a yelp and a splash and the dog was gone, a pool of blood was all that remained
Local fisherman have caught wind of the abnormal presence of sharks in fresh water and many are now attempting to bait them for sport. Lisa Smith the owner of a small dog gone missing on Saturday has posted a reward of $300 for each shark killed and removed from the lake. Another woman is seemingly convinced the sharks are responsible for the disappearance of her beloved Chihuahua Chili.
Billy Baldwin a local water enthusiast when interviewed stated he was looking to catch one of these Bull Sharks to see if he could “ride it like he stole it”.. He then grabbed a beer from his cooler and waded into the lake saying “Here kitty kitty kitty” while waving a red towel. When asked about the red towel Baldwin explained “Well, it is a BULL shark, Right?…. Ole”, he then laughed and dove under the water..
Local government officials are warning citizens not to enter the waters until investigators can conclude why and how multiple Bull Sharks entered and remain in Yosemite Lake. Fish and Game officials say this could be devastating to the ecosystem and cause an unnatural imbalance to the local Eco-system.
