Publisher TOR books has announced they will be dropping childrens scifi author Patrick S Tomlinson this coming fall over “racist, sexist, and transphobic” statements Tomlinson made online.
“We do not tolerate any form of hate speech from any of our authors. Further more, the dwindling sales on Mr. Tomlinson’s books have given us more than enough reason to refuse doing any further business with him. He paid us $3000 to publish his books with us and promised they would sell. We have yet to come near earning back out losses in sales.” a representative of TOR told us upon inquiring as to why the author was cut.
Many of the tweets in question cannot be repeated as the author went on a violent, racist diatribe Wednesday night on twitter, including violent threats against transgendered women as well as Donald Trumps family.

This was the first tweet that started a chain of racist and sexist remarks, which Tomlinson called his “list of greivences”.

He also owes us $2800 for what he called his “initial investment”, and we are seeking an additional $3000 for our damage to our image, as well he purchase from us the 500 copies of his books we had printed that have sat unsold.” TOR representative Nigel Igger told us over the phone. “The things are as good as fucking bricks, to us. If he doesnt get em out of here we have no choice but shred them and dispose of them”
