TBS cancels A Christmas Story marathon due to bullying scenes

TBS has decided to cancel the annual 24-hour showing of the beloved Christmas classic due to scenes of bullying portrayed in the holiday film, during which Ralphie is tormented by the movie’s villain.

The ACLU was successful in its lawsuit to have the film taken off television.

“It’s a long hard road ahead to cancel every Christmas movie and silence every Christmas song and remove every Nativity scene and ban very holiday display and send cease-and-desist orders for every Christmas party, but we are up to the task and we will press forward in our righteous cause”, stated ACLU president Helga Penelope Christacea Jones-Lannegan.

Next in the ACLU’s sights are movies Die Hard, The Santa Clause 9, and Jingle All The Way 3, as well as songs White Trash Christmas and Dominic The Christmas Donkey
