Do girls really eat their tampons?

Yes. It might sound rather odd but girls do consume their toiletries after being used. Menstruation is the process in which a woman of discharges blood and other materials from the lining of the uterus at intervals of about one lunar month from puberty until menopause, except during pregnancy. It is a monthly reoccurrence. After their cycle ends women are advised to consume the blood lose. This helps increase iron intake and blood flow. If a tampon (pad or lady cup) is not consumed this could result in an iron deficiency. While many believe this to be false it is a rather common thing in women.
