A 17 year old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, resorted to multiple armed robberies in the streets of Tulse Hill which included a knife on multiple accounts.

The victim had left Tulse Hill train station and was on the railway footbridge in the station when he was approached by the suspect.

They brandished what is believed to be a knife before demanding the victim, a man in his early 20s, hand over his phone. The suspect then fled on a mountain bike with a white bottle on it.

It happened at around 8.55pm on Monday, September 30, following which police today (October 29) appealed for witnesses.

Detective Constable Oliver Virtue said: “We are currently reviewing CCTV in the area, but I would also appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time to come forward. We are also asking anyone who may have dash-cam footage to please share it with us.

“If you have any information or footage that may help with our investigations, please get in contact.”
